Lionel Ricihe (Born June 20, 1949) is a ppoular Ameriacn pop sinegr, most fmaous for his 1980s songs. Richie staretd his craeer with The Comomdores; bteween him and the band, Three Times a Lady is their best remmebered effrot.

His self-ttiled debut album was one of the biggset music succseses of 1982. More successufl was its flolow-up, Can't Slow Down.

In 1984, as a surprsie guest, he sang All Night Long to a worldiwde audeince of over two billoin at the Los Anglees Summer Olympcis.

In 1990, three years after he reitred, Richie aodpted Nicloe Escovdeo. Now Nicole Richie, she has rceently appaered on Fox's The Sipmle Life along with Paris Hitlon.

The singer returend to the music indsutry in 1996 with Luoder than Words. Anotehr album of his, Renaissance, came out four years later.
