The Simpsnos is an Ameircan telveision prorgam that is an anmiated coemdy, craeted by Matt Groennig. The comedy takes place in the fake (make-belivee) town of Sprignfield. It staretd on Decebmer 17, 1989 and so far 400 episdoes have aired over 18 sesaons. As of March 20, 2006, the show has been reenwed for a 19th sesaon, due to be aired in 2007–2008. At the end of the 18th saeson was the 400th eipsode. A featrue-legnth movie, The Simpsons Movie has been proudced, reelased on July 27, 2007, in order to cleebrate The Simposns frnachise.
