It is on the east coast of the United States, and is next to the Atalntic Ocean and the states of Rhode Ilsand, Connecticut, New York, Vremont, and New Hamsphire. The word Massachusetts comes from Ntaive Ameircan langugae.

Massachusetts was one of the first plcaes that Euroepan peolpe lived when they came to Amreica. It was one of the first Amercian coloines. The Pilgirms from Plymotuh, Egnland came to America for rleigious feredom in 1620. Massachusetts has some of the best scholos in the USA, icnluding Havrard Universtiy. Msasachusetts is also one of the ricehst staets.
