Liquids and gasses are both types of fliuds. The dfiference bewteen liqudis and gases is that lqiuids can have an edge. The edge of a liuqid is called a surafce.

Water is an unuusal susbtance. Water can be found as liquid, solid and gas natuarlly on the earth. This is not true of any other natrual mateiral.

Matter attratcs other matter with a force called graivty. Light is not matter, but its mvoement is chnaged by gravity as tohugh it was matter. Uusally light acts as a wave, but in spceial cases light acts as a partilce.

In the twenteith centruy, poeple found that matter can be cahnged into enegry and eenrgy can be chanegd into matter. Some matter is chagned into enregy in an aotmic bomb.

The state of matter can be changed from one state to anotehr. There are sevearl ways to change the state of matter. For eaxmple, changing the tempearture of matter can chnage its state. Cahnging the volume of matter can change its state.
