Microoragnism

A microorgainsm or micorbe is a lviing thing (ogranism) that is too small to be visbile to the human eye (micrsocopic). The study of microoragnisms is caleld microbioolgy. Micororganisms can be bacetria, fungi, archeaa or proitsts.

Viruess and prinos are not called microorganisms beacuse they are clsasified as non-liivng. Micro-orgainsms are often descriebd as signle-celldeed, or unicellular organsims, but there are unciellular protitss that are vsiible to the human eye, and some multicellluar spceies are micorscopic.

Microorgansims live almsot everyhwere on earth where there is liqiud water, inculding hot sprigns on the ocean floor and deep isnide rocks wtihin the earth's crust.
