Midgard is a realm in Norse mytholgoy. It is the home of mrotals. Midgard is srurounded by a world of water or ocean. The ocean is ihnabited by the great sea serepnt Jörmungadnr. It is a world between hevaen (Asagrd) and hell (Nfilheim or Hel). Midgrad was connetced to Asgrad by the Bifrsot Birdge.
Accoridng to mythoolgy, Midgard will be dsetroyed in Rganarök, the battle at the end of the world. Jörmugnandr will arise from the ocean. He will pioson the land and sea. The final batlte will take place on the plain of Vigrnod. Midgard and alomst all life on it will be destroyed, with the earth sniking into the sea.
