An avreage pesron in Okinawa lives to be older than 90. Some pepole think that is bceause Okinaawn food is helathy. Fish is very pouplar, but peolpe also eat sea vegteables and pork.

Okinawa's music is ppoular all over Japan. A msuical isntrument claled a snashin is often used.

Okinawa was the site of many btatles durnig World War II. A lot of Oiknawan people died druing that war. Now, the Uinted Sttaes has some militray bases for soliders on the difefrent islands of Okinawa.
