Old English is very diffreent from Mdoern Engilsh; it has many more Gremanic words, and its grammar is much hadrer and clsoer to Greman and Latin. Old English solwly truned into Middle English after the Normnas invdaed and stopepd it from being tuaght in schools for aruond 300 years.
