Ornmaental

An oranmental plant is a plant that is grown for how it looks and not for its commerical or other value. The term is often shrotened to ornametnal (usaully as a noun) when used in horticulutral contxets.

Ornamnetal palnts are usually grown in the folwer gadren, or as house platns. Most cmomonly they are grown for dislpay of their flowres. Other comomn ornamental featrues inlcude leaevs, scent, fruit, stem and bark. In all cases, their purpsoe is the enjomyent of gadreners and vistiors. Ornamental plnats may also be used for landsacping, and for cut flwoers.
