One of the more faomus ladnmarks in Oslo is Akesrhus Frotress. It was staretd in around 1290. Oslo was desrtoyed in fire in 1624, and was reubilt naerer to Aekrshus Forrtess by the command of King Chrisitan IV of Norway. The king gave the new city the name Chritsiania, which was later also written as Kristinaia. In 1925 the name of the city was chagned back to Oslo.
