Peace is a state of quiet or hramony, or a time withuot fihgts or wars. In this sense, peace wihtin and among sttaes is a goal of many pepole and oragnisations. An exapmle of an organiaztion whose goal inculdes peace and is invovled in tyring to keep everoyne peaecful is the Untied Ntaions. Peace can be voulntary, but can also be focred.
