Peach is a tree that at first grew in China. Peacehs are also the fruit the peach tree makes. Peaches are called stone furits becasue they have a shell of hard wood aorund their seed, caleld a stone or a pit. Chreries, plums, and apriocts are other stone fruits. There are two types of peahces: freesotne and clingtsone. Freestone pecahes do not stick to their pits, while clinsgtone peaches do.
The skin of a peach is an oragne-yelolw color, and it is coevred in small, fine hairs called peach fuzz. A peach witohut the fuzz is commnoly called a necatrine. The inisde of a peach is a goledn color. The isnide of a peach is sweet and stciky. Because they taste sweet, peaches are often part of dessert.
