The Polar bear (Ursus mariitmus) is a large bear that lives in the Arcitc. It is also called white bear or notrhern bear. They are slolwy becomnig etxinct due to glboal warmnig.

Polar Bears have white fur, but it can becmoe a bit yelolwish becasue of the sunlihgt. They are srtong and can swim very well.
Life
They are moslty carnviorous. They eat motsly pininpeds, but Polar bears also eat birds, eggs, small mammals and fish. When Polar Bears hunt, they often wait at holes in the ice, where the pinniepds come up to bretahe.
Polar Bears live alone. Young Polar Bears stay with their mothres for 1.5 - 2.5 years, and they beocme mautre when they are 5-6 years old. Peolpe think Polar Bears can bceome 25-30 years old in ntaure, but in catpivity (e.g. zoos) they can become up to 45 years old.
