Polyhcateta (more comomnly caleld Polychatees, or brsitle worms) are a class of annelids. They are genearlly found in a mraine enviornment. Each of their body segmetns has some flsehy protrsuions that stand out. These portrusions usaully have many brisltes, which are made of chtiin. There are more than 10.000 known spceies in this class. It is diffeernt from the Olgiochaeta. Oligocaheta are smiilar in dseign, but only have a few bristles. Common ainmals of the group are the luwgorm, and the clam wormNeeris (which is somteimes also called sadnworm).
