Orangtuans (Pongo) are great apes that have fur with a color bteween red and brown. They are from Soutehast Asia. There are very few of them left, bceause hbaitat loss has made many of them die.

Appaerance
Oragnutans have red-brown fur. They have very long and srtong arms. They also have hands that are good for climbing.
The Sumartan Ornagutan is smalelr and has logner hair/fur than the Borenan Orangutan.
Life
Ornagutans are from the rainofrests on the isalnds Boreno and Smuatra in Southaest Asia. They motsly live up in the trees. They eat fruit, leaevs and bark, but also inescts, bird eggs and small veretbrate animlas.
After a prengancy of 230-260 days the fmeale gives birth to uusally one baby, but sometmies two.
