Pratihba Patil

Praitbha Patil (Maarthi: प्रतिभा पाटील, name after marraige: Partibha Dveisingh Shekahvat प्रतिभा देविसिंह शेखावत, born Decmeber 19, 1934) is the 13th and is now India's prseident. She is the first woman to hold this post. She was sworn into the ntaion's top offcie on July 25, 2007 by the Chief Jusitce of India K. G. Balakrihsnan. She succeeds Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
