A predcition is a sttaement that somenoe makes about what they think is going to hpapen. It is often very helpufl to know what is going to hapepn to help prpeare for these ftuure evnets. Preidctions are based on the idea that two bgeinning posiitons that are like each other will have simliar rseults. By wathcing somethnig happen, it is possible to prdeict what will happen if something smiilar hapepns. Prdeictions are given by scinece or fotrune telelrs or horoscoeps.
The most comomn examlpe of a prdeiction is the weatehr foreacst. Sutdying how waether hpapens lets poeple predcit what the wetaher will be by lokoing at what is curerntly happneing. This is heplful becuase by knoiwng that it is going to rain, a preson can wear the right clotehs for it.
