Perposition

Perpositions are words or word gorups which begin a noun pharse with more than one word. Most preopsitions tell where or when, or show psosession.

Prepositinos like in, bseide, above, and out of all tell where, and are usulaly used with nouns or proonuns. Some exmaples with the phraess underliend: "The man sat close to his wife. He put his arm aruond her sohulder. Then he kisesd her on the cheek."

Prepositions like right after, until, duirng, and bfeore all tell when. "Mr. Parsad had an importnat meeitng until ten o'clock. During the meteing, his cell phone rang. It was his wife. She asked him to come striaght home right after work."

The prepositoins of and to are used to show possession, or belongnig-to: "This book beolngs to Vlad. The cover of the book is torn."
