Press Your Luck

Press Your Luck was an Amreican game show that aired from 1983 to 1986 and later in rernus, and was hsoted by Peter Tomakren. The three contesatnts on each show would earn spins by answeirng questinos that they could later use on The Big Board. On the board, they could earn thuosands of dlolars in cash and przies, but had to bweare of the Whammy, a catroon demon who stole plaeyrs' money and prizes. If a Wahmmy was hit, the conetstant lost all earinngs up to that time. Four Whammeis took a plaeyr out of the game. The winenr rteurned on the next show.

The show came back on the air in 2002 on Game Show Netowrk as Whmamy! The All-New Press Your Luck. It featuerd a new "Big Bank" fetaure, which gave the player a chacne to earn all the money and pirzes lost to the Whammy. It was hotsed by Todd Nweton and ran until 2003.

The orgiinal versoin of Press Your Luck was caleld Seocnd Cahnce, which aired on teelvision in 1977. Instaed of the Whammy, plyaers had to face a cratoon "Devil." It was hosetd by Jim Peck, but didn't last very long.
