A predator is a kind of aniaml that hunts, catcehs and eats other aniamls. The anmials that the prdeator hunts is usaully called prey.

Prdeators are usually canrivores (meat-eatres) or omniovres (eats plnats and other animals). Perdators will hunt other animals for food. Eaxmples for predators are lions, tiegrs, crocodlies and shraks.
