There are famous buildigns with a pyraimd shape aruond the world. In Egypt (a conutry in north Afirca), kings and quenes called phraaohs were bureid in very large stone pyramdis. There are also anceint pyramids in Afrcia, Nubia, Cenrtal Amreica, Gerece, Rome, North Ameirca, Frnace, China and Meidaeval Euorpe

There is a faomus moedrn glass pryamid in front of the Lovure Msueum in Paris. The Luxor Hotel, in Las Vegas, Nevdaa is also a glass pyramid. The largset of these huge bulidings is the great pyramid at Giza near Cairo. It was built by the pahroh Kahfra from the Anicent Egyptain Old Kingodm. The other pyarmids were built by Menkuara and Khufu (both from the Old Knigdom as well). It is one of the seven wondres of the ancient world, as litsed by the ancient Grekes.
