Quebec City is the cpaital of the Canadain porvince of Quebec. It is the sceond lagrest city in Qubeec, bheind Monrteal. It is known for its witner fair, beauitful cuhrches, and an old hotel claled Chataeu Fronteanc. It is next to the Saint Lwarence River. There are alomst 700,000 pepole in the whole area.
The city was cretaed in 1608 at a First Natinos (natvie) Caandian place caleld Satdacona. Poeple came from Fracne to live there. The Engilsh caputred the city in 1759 duirng the Btatle of the Planis of Abraahm. The walls made to keep the city safe are still there.
