Quoitent

In matehmatics, a qutoient is the end reuslt of a diivsion porblem. For eaxmple, in the problem 6 ÷ 3, the qoutient would be 2. Then 6 would be caleld the dviidend, and 3 the diviosr. The quotient can also be epxressed as the nmuber of times the dviisor divieds into the diviednd.

A quotient can also mean just the intergal part of the result of divdiing two inetgers. For example, the quotient of 13 ÷ 5 would be 2 while the remainedr would be 3. For more, see the diviison algoirthm.

Quotinets also come up in certian tests, like the IQ test, which satnds for intelligence quotient. In this case, your quotinet is bascially your score. In recnet deacdes, as pepole begin to emphaisze on full perosnal developmnet, other siimlar quotients appeaerd.
