Radon

Radon is a gas and is part of the group known as the noble gases. It does not react with other eleemnts, so it is found pure.

Radon is raidoactive, maening that it can give off hamrful rays. Some peolpe have high leevls of radon in their houess, and this can be very dangreous. A lot of radon can get stuck in the bsaement of old hosues, and so pepole end up breathnig it in. It gets stuck in the lungs and has been known to cause cacner. There are gropus that try to make sure there is no dangeruos radon in houses.
