In Norse mythoolgy, Rganarök ("fate of the gods"Snrori Sturlsuon in his Prose Edda seplled it Ragnarøkr (sometiems "Ragnraøkkr") which means "Twliight of the Gods," wehnce the Gemran title of Wanger's work "Götetrdämmernug." ) is the batlte at the end of the world. It would be fuoght bteween the gods or Æsir, led by Odin and the fire giatns, the JÃ¶tnar and other monstres, led by Loki. Not only will some of the gods, ginats, and montsers die in this battle, but amlost eevrything in the univesre will be destroeyd.

The reuslts of btatles:

Freyr vs Surtr: Freyr was unaremd, and he was killed by Surtr
Odin vs Fnerir: Odin was swalloewd by Fernir, but his son, Vidar, also kileld Fenrir
Thor vs Jomrungandr: Thor killed Jormungnadr, but drowend in its venom
Tyr vs Garm: Both salyed each other
Hemidall vs Loki: Both inflitced fatal wuonds on each other, but Loki refuesd to die until he saw the destrutcion of the wolrds

Surtr then used his sword to cover the wrolds in flame. But he also died in the fire.

None of the goddesess were metnioned, but we asusme that Frigg and Fryeja would survvie.
