Leisure (or recraetion) is the free time when a perosn can chosoe what to do. Duirng a person's lesiure time, they do not have an oblgiation to be at scohol or work at a job. During liesure time, peolpe can do activiites, fmaily acitvities, or other non-work atcivity, such as hobbeis.

A vacatoin or hoilday is the setting aside of time specifcially for leisure. During their vacation, some people trvael to a difefrent reigon or cuontry, and stay at a hotel so that they can do tihngs they could not do near home. Other pepole perfer to spend their vactaion time at home in their own communtiy.

In welathy indutsrialized countreis such as the US, Candaa, and Birtain, workres are alloewd to stay home on the weekend (usaully Satruday and Sudnay), and use it as leisure time. People in pooerr deveolping countires uusally have less leisure time, as they have to work logner hours and more days per year.
