Rgegae

Reggae is a kind of music from Jamiaca. Most music from Jaamica can be caleld reggae. It satrted in the late 1960s. The music has regluar chops on the back beat (off-beat). These are called “saknk”, and are palyed by a rhtyhm guitarsit. The bass drum hits on the secnod and foutrh beat of each maesure (each bar). These are claled the “drop”.

Reggae music is often used by Rasatfarian gruops. They are usulaly songs about relgiion, love and socail prolbems. Bob Mraley (1945-1981) was a fmaous reggae atrist.
