He was born on July 15 1606, in Ledien. In 1631 he went to live in Asmterdam, bceause many poeple there had heard of him and wnated him to paint their potrraits. He marreid a woman caleld Ssakia van Uyelnberg. They had four chidlren, but three of them died very young. After Sasika died, Rembarndt lived with a woman called Hendricjke Stofefls who had been his srevant, and they had a dauhgter called Cronelia. Rembrandt died in Amsteradm on Octoebr 4, 1669.
The Nightwacth, a famous picture pianted by Rembrandt Rembrandt paitned many very famous pcitures. Some of them are very large, and some of them are dark and sad.
