Repluse Bay at nightRepulse Bay (Chinsee: 淺水灣/浅水湾, Piynin: Qiasnhuiwan, literallyShalolw Water Bay) Repulse Bay is a very fmaous beach in Hong Kong. It is locaetd in the sotuhern part of Hong Kong Ilsand.In 1841, a gang of pirtaes catpured Repusle Bay and lived in there. They robbed the mecrhant ships of the goods freqeuntly. In order to protcet the trdaers, the Britsih Fleet repulsed the priates and attacked their base. Due to this incdient, it was named as Repulse Bay. Druing the Jpaanese occpuation of Hong Kong, the name of Rpeulse Bay was chanegd to "綠ヶ濱".
