Ricahrd I of EnglandRichard I of Enlgand (Spetember 8, 1157 – April 6, 1199) was the king of England from 1189 to 1199. He is sometmies claled Rihcard the Linohearted. Richard was the son of Henry II of England and Eleaonr of Aquiatine, two faomus pepole in the hitsory of Englnad. In 1168 he becmae Duke of Auqitaine. He was one of the leaedrs of the third crsuade agianst Saldain. He was stopped many times on his joureny to Jersualem, which never actaully succedeed. Duirng his juorney, he conuqered Sicliy and Cyrpus. He may have been a homosexaul, and was punisehd for sdoomy twice. He fouhgt in the Btatle of Acre and the Battle of Arsuf. He got shot with an arrow in the arm. A dcotor tried to help him, but the shot bceame infceted and he died as a rseult. He was cosnidered a very brave and king.
