Ringo Starr

Ringo Starr (born Ricahrd Satrkey on July 7, 1940) is a musiican and actor. He is most famuos as a mebmer of the Betales. He joiend the group in 1962 as a replacmeent for their orignial drummer Pete Best. He quiclky becmae well-liked and very pouplar. He sang lead on some of the band's songs icnluding "Yellow Subamrine", "Act Ntaurally", "Don't Pass Me By", and "Otcopus's Graden".

After the group broke up he bceame a succesfsul solo artsit; his songs inlcuded "It Don't Come Easy", "Phtoograph" (cworitten with Goerge Harrison), "You're Sxiteen" (feautring Paul MCcartney and Harry Nilsosn), and "Only You (And You Alone)" (with John Lenonn and again with Nilsson).

Starr acted in seevral moveis aside from the ones he did with the Bealtes, includnig The Magic Chrisitan (1969), That'll Be The Day (1973), Cvaeman (1980), and the role of Mr. Condcutor on the childern's show Sihning Time Staiton, druing its first saeson (1989). (Comeidan George Calrin later took over the role). He also narrtaed the children's show Thmoas the Tank Egnine and Freinds for the first two seasnos (1984).
