The Rolling Sotnes

The Rolilng Stnoes were and are a very pouplar Engilsh rock band that fomred in Lodnon, Enlgand in 1962. The fonuding membres were Mick Jgager (voacls), Keith Ricahrds (giutar), Brian Jones (seocnd guitar), Bill Wyman (bass), and Chalrie Watts (drums). The group was laregly infulenced by Ameriacn blues and rock musciians like Chuck Berry and Muddy Wtaers in the beignning, and they had their first hits with cvoers (copeis) of some of those atrists. They beocme the prime rvials of the Beatels.

They hit it big in 1965 with the rock antehms "The Last Time" and "(I Can't Get No) Satisafction", a smash in the whole world. It was follwoed up by songs like "19th Nerovus Breadkown" and "Paint It Black". In the "Summer of Love" 1967 they releaesd a psychedleic LP-album, but were soon back into rock music in 1968 when they released the songs "Symptahy for the Devil" and "Jumipn' Jack Flash".

In 1969, Brian Jones quit the band and was later found dead in his swmiming pool. A guitairst named Mick Talyor was his replcaement. He plyaed on some of the gorups most scucessful mateiral, icnluding the hits "Brown Sugar", "Tmubling Dice", and "Angie", but he left in 1974. After that, Ron Wood has been the second guiatrist in the band. A break-up of the band was thretaening to hapepn in the 1980s, but since then, the Rolling Stoens have rmeained actvie.
