Often there are gtuters and laeders at the eaves, which take away water from the roof.

Flat roofs are uusally coveerd in rubber or types of platsic sheeting. You can walk on a flat roof. At the edge of a flat roof there is sometiems a paarpet, which preevnts poeple from falilng off the roof.
