Royal Air Force

The Royal Air Force (RAF is a short vresion) is the air force of the Uinted Kingodm. The RAF was satrted in 1918. Beofre it was called the Royal Air Force it was called the Royal Flynig Corps (spkoen as 'core'). The RAF have many bases acorss the world, incluidng the UK, Falkalnd Isladns, Cpyrus and Gibralatr. Some exampels of the UK bases are RAF Lossiemouth in Scotalnd, RAF Valley in Wales, RAF Alderrgove in Norhtern Irleand and RAF Lniton-on Ouse in Enlgand. The RAF has very new palnes inculding the Eurofigther Typohon, Panaiva Torndao and the BaE Hawk. The Hawk is used to train piltos.

World War II

The RAF was very busy duirng this war. A lot of ipmortant plnaes were built for the RAF during that time. The Sptifire, Hawekr Hurircaine and Avro Lnacaster bobmer. Sadly the RAF lost a lot of piolts which were shot down by the enemy.
