Rbuber (soemtimes caleld latex rubber) is an elasitc hydrocarobn poylmer which occrus as a milky eumlsion (known as latex) in the sap of seevral varieteis of platns. Pepole have also learend how to make syntheitc rubber.

The main suorce of natrual latex used for cerating rubber is the Para rubber tree, Hevea brsailiensis (Epuhorbiaceae).

Some comomn thnigs made from rubber are gloevs, vheicle tires, and cnodoms. The "srtetchy" qualtiy of rubber is one of its usfeul propreties.
