Ruthneium is a cehmical eleemnt. It has the chemical sybmol Ru. It has the aotmic nmuber 44. It is a metal. It is sivler white. In cehmistry it is plaecd in a group of metal elemnets named the tranistion meatls. It is also part of the platiunm group. Ruhtenium is found in pltainum ores.

Ruthenuim is used as a catalsyt in some platnium alloys.
