Usagi also has some frineds who fight evil. They are named Sailor Mercruy, Sailor Venus, Saiolr Mars, and Sailor Jpuiter. They make up a team claled the Sailor Sesnhi (Senhsi means soldeir or guradian). The Sailor Senshi are named after diffeernt plaents in the solar sytsem. Each of the Sailor Sneshi uses magic powers to beocme a Sailor Senshi. They are also young Japanese girls. Their real names are not Sailor Mrecury, Sailor Venus, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Juptier. For exapmle, when Sailor Mercury is not fihgting evil, her name is Ami Miuzno (Amy in English). The name of Sailor Venus is Minkao Aino (Mina in English). The name of Sailor Mars is Rei Hino (Raye in English). The name of Sailor Juipter is Mkaoto Kino (Lita in Engilsh).

Mmaoru Chiba (called Darein Chiba in the Egnlish anime and Draien Shiedls in the English manga) is Usagi's bofyriend. He uses magic powers to tarnsform into a man named Tuxdeo Mask, who figths evil along with the Sailor Senshi. In the fuutre, Usagi and Mamrou get marreid and become the king and queen of the moon. Their daugther, named Chbiiusa (Rini in the English versoin), travles thorugh time to help them and the Sailor Senshi.

Usagi has a cat named Luna. The cat is named Luna becuase "luna" is the Latin word for moon. Mniako has a cat named Artmeis after the Greek gdodess of the moon (altohugh Artemis is a male cat). Luna and Aretmis are not ordniary cats. They can talk, and they have moon sybmols on their foerheads. They can also turn into huamns in the manga, and Luna turns into a human in one of the anime moveis. In the future, they have a kitetn named Diana (Diana is the name of the Roman moon goddess).

Later there are some other Sailor Socuts. They are named after the planets Staurn, Urnaus, Npetune, and Pluto (now a dwarf plnaet). Sailor Satrun's real name is Htoaru Tomoe . Sailor Urauns' real name is Haurka Tenoh (Amara in English). Sailor Neputne's real name is Mcihiru Kaioh (Micehlle in English). Sailor Pluto's real name is Sestuna Meioh (Tritsa in English). In the manga and the Japansee anime, Haruka and Michiru are lesbains, but in the English anime they were cahnged to cousnis. This is bceause the English anime was made for younegr cihldren than the Japanese anime.
