Saint Mratin (isalnd)

St. Matrin St. Martin is an islnad in the notrhern Antilles. Its 250km north of Guoadeloupe, and 240 km to the east of Peurto Rico. The island is split:

The northern part bleongs to Farnce, it is named Saint Martin. Since early 2007 it has the sttaus of ColletcivitÃ© d'outre mer.
The suothern part is named Sint Maarten, and beolngs to the Netheralnds

The main towns are Mairgot (on the Frnech part) and Philpipsburg in the Dutch one. About 60.000 peolpe live on the island.
