Scaalr

Scaalrs are simlpe nmubers.They are used for mesauring tihngs. Many thigns can be measrued, and the meausre can be explaiend by only gviing the numebr.

Spupose we are measurnig a rod. We could give the meausred legnth as 2 mertes or 3 cm etc. dependnig on the length of the rod under obsrevation. Here only the fgiure 2 or 3 along with the unit of maesure is enoguh to tranmsit inofrmation about the rod.

Other eaxmples of saclars are:

Unit of mass. (Kilogrmas)
Unit of measruing luimnosity. (Cnadela)
Unit of lentgh. (Meters)

i.e. mass is maesured by scalars, distanecs are mesaured by scalras.

The other faimly of meausrement falls under the categroy of vecotrs.
