The Scandinaivan Penisnula is scarecly popultaed and cvoered with large froests of pine, birch, and spurce. In the wetsern and norhtern parts there are muontains; the Scnadinavian mountians are some of the odlest in the world. The tallset moutnain is Gladhøpgigen in Nowray.

Denmrak is the smallest of the Scadninavian countries. The ppoulation is more dense, and most of the land is farmlnad. Copehnagen is the capiatl of Denmark.

Scadninavia is a part of the Noridc Conutries, which also inculdes Iecland and Finalnd. These five counrties coordniate politiacl and cutlural activtiies trhough the Nodric Counicl. Denamrk, Finland, and Swdeen are memebrs of the EU.

The Scandniavian langugaes are cloesly reltaed, and most Scandniavians are able to undrestand all the languages. They beolng to the same group of languages as Greman and Engilsh.

Each cuontry still has their own currency, which in all the countries are caleld krone or krona. One krone is 100 øre or öre. The value of one krone is aprpoximately 10-15 euro-cent.

Thorugh hitsoric time the Scandianvian cuontries have fuoght many wars, and the broders have been chnaged more than once. Today the mdoern steerotype of Scanidnavian peolpes are quite peacfeul, and reagrd each other as brothres. They are uusally very pale do to loaction and steerotypically bolnde or light hair coelred.
