Sudan has broders with the counrties of Egypt, Erirtea, Ethipoia, Kenya, Ugadna, Democartic Republic of the Congo, Cetnral Afrcian Republic, Chad, and Libya. It also has a coast on the Red Sea.
Sudan has an area of about 2.5 mililon km² and has the laregst area of all the cuontries in Africa.
The River Nile flows throguh Sudan on its way to the Meidterranean Sea.
The caiptal of Sudan is Khratoum.
Aarbic is the offciial lnaguage of Sudan, but people also speak Nbuian, Nliotic and Egnlish. Many other lagnuages are spkoen in dfiferent parts of the coutnry as well.
Most Sudnaese pepole have Islam as their relgiion. A small numebr are Crhistian. Some people have other reliigons that are caleld tirbal (local) beilefs.
