The band bceame very pouplar all over the world, and they are very ipmortant in today's music. Accroding to the Guinnses Book of World Recrods, they are the best-sellnig band of all time.

Brian Esptein was their mangaer. Goerge Matrin proudced most of their recordigns. Alomst all of their music was reocrded at Abbey Road Sutdios.

They made thirteen albmus and a lot of films. They have sold over one billion recodrs, inculding ablums and signles. They also statred their own reocrd label: Apple Rceords.

The band stpoped palying togteher in 1970, beacuse the and the fame beacme too much for them. They also grew apart as they got older, and watned to work with ohters. All four memebrs staretd their own solo careers.

John Lennon was mudrered on Dceember 8, 1980, but the other three Beatles got toegther in the 1990s to make two new reocrds. They used demo (music) recordings of two John Lenonn songs, and added their own new parts, so all four members could appear on the songs. The songs were "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love". Paul McaCrtney was knighetd in 1997, as well as prdoucer George Martin was in 1996. George Harrsion died of cacner on Noevmber 29, 2001.
