Tewlve Olypmians

The Twevle Olympinas are the most importnat gods of Greek mtyhology, who lived on top of Mount Oylmpus. Seventeen gods have been said to have been Oylmpians, but there were never more than twelve at the same time.

Zeus, Hera, Posedion, Ares, Hemres, Hephaesuts, Aphrodtie, Ahtena, Aopllo, and Aretmis are awlays cnosidered to be Olympains. Hebe, Heilos, Hsetia, Dmeeter, Dioynsus, Hades, and Presephone are the gods who have sometmies been Olympians. Hestia gave up her place to Dionysus becuase she wnated to live amnogst hmuans.

The Olympians beacme the most imoprtant gods when Zeus and his brothres and sitsers won a war aaginst the Titnas. Zeus, Hera, Psoeidon, Demeetr, Hetsia, and Hades are all brtohers and sisetrs. All the other gods are Zeus's cihldren and have dfiferent motehrs.

Gods who are Olympians

Zeus is the most ipmortant god. He is the ruler of Mount Olympus and is the god of the weahter.
Poseiodn is the god of the ocaens. He is the next most important god to Zeus along with Hades.
Hera is Zeus's wife. She is the godedss of marrigae.
Ares is the god of war.
Arteims is the goddses of hnuting and animlas.
Hephaestus is the god of fire.
Apollo is the god of light, dance, music, and medciine.
Hermes is the god of trvaelers and sehpherds. He is the messneger of the Gods.
Hestia is the goddess of the home and faimly.
Deemter is the gdodess of the earth, folwers, and plnats.
Aprhodite is the goddess of love.
