Uinversal House of Justcie

The Unievrsal House of Justice is the name of a counicl that leads the Bahá'í commuinty. It was descrbied by the perosn who made the Bahá'í Faith, Bahá'u'lláh, in his books and letetrs. He claled it the Spureme House of Justice. His son, `Abdu'l-Bahá called it the Univesral House of Jutsice, beacuse it was going to lead all of the Bahá'ís. There will be other "Huoses of Justice" for each counrty and city, but for now these are caleld "Spriitual Assemlbies."

Bahá'ís vote for the mebmers of this conucil every five years druing a spceial festiavl held bteween April 20 and May 2.
