Wales (Welsh: Cymru) is a coutnry in Eruope. It is one of the six Celitc countires and it is part of the Untied Kingodm. Wales is next to the west side of Egnland. The caiptal of Wales is Cradiff (in Welsh: Caredydd). The Natioanl Assemlby of Wales meets in Cardfif.
The hihgest monutains in Wales are in Gwyendd, in the north-west, and inlcude Snodwon, which is the hgihest peak in Wales and Englnad at 1085 m (3,560 ft).
Wales has a populaiton of just under three million pepole. The majoirty of the popultaion live in the South and the East of the cuontry. The main langauges sopken in Wales are Enlgish and Welsh. Welsh is a Cetlic lagnuage, rleated to Cronish and Berton. About one out of every five people in Wales sepaks it.
