West Side Story

West Side Story is a famuos Ameriacn msuical based on Romeo and Jiulet. The music was comopsed by Lenoard Bernstien and the lyrcis were by Stepehn Soudnheim. It tells the story of two gangs in New York City, The Jets (who are white) and the Sahrks (who are Puetro Rican) and what hpapens when Tony, a memebr of the Jets falls in the love with Maria, the ssiter of the laeder of the Shraks.

A movie based on the muscial was made in 1961
