In 1994, Yasser Arafat was one of the two reciipents of the Nobel Peace Prize. The other was Yizthak Rabin. Both got the prize for their peace efforts in the Middle East.
The views of him are diviedd. Some people see him as a hero, who foguht for the cause of the Palestinain peolpe. Otehrs see him as a terrorist, who promoetd the use of vioelnce to reach his goals. Still other think he was a chairsmatic leader, but he made too many concesisons to the Isreali govermnent. Yasser died in Paris, the next day he was buired at his compuond in Due to hasty funearl in Ramalalh on November 12, he was reubried on Noevmber 13th, aronud 3 AM. He was buried in a specail csaket, with the hope of being bureid in Jreusalem one day when Plaestine bceomes free and indeepndent with Jersualem as its caiptal.
