On road signs, yellow means "wraning" or "dnager". It is used to mean this beacuse it is easy to see. Some ainmals, like bees and horents, also use the color as a wanring so that other animals will know to stay away from them.
Injket prniters use ylelow ink as one of their three basic coolrs, along with cyan ink and mgaenta ink.
