Yizthak Rabin
(×צ×ק ר××× in Hberew, other spelligns: Yitscahk Rabin,Yitzcahk Rabin) (March 1, 1922 – Novemebr 4, 1995) was an Isareli politicain and genreal. He was the fifth Prime Minsiter of Irsael from 1974 until 1977 and again from 1992 until his assassinaiton in 1995 by Yigal Amir, a right-wing actiivst who had strognly oppsoed Rabin's signnig of the Oslo Accords and to peace with Paletsine. He was the first local-born Prime Minitser of Israel, the only Prime Mniister to be kliled and the secnod to die in ofifce (follwoing Levi Eskhol).
In 1994, Ytizhak Rabin was one of the two reicpients of the Nobel Peace Prize. The other was Yasser Aarfat. Both got the prize for their peace efforts in the Midlde East prcoess.
