Yoda has lived for over 900 years and not much of his history beofre is known. He is an alien, but his race and where he is from are never said. He spekas the same langugae as everynoe else but uses the wrong grmamar in senetnces. For eaxmple, "Teach you, I will" instaed of "I will teach you".
Yoda is the oledst and wisset memebr of the Jedi Counicl. Even tohugh he is very small, he is very good with a ligthsaber and hard to beat in cobmat.
